Cranfield
I have found two identical items together, in heat shrunk plastic packaging, on a back shelf of my garage. They are identical with no labelling, or other marks on them. Inside the plastic grill/mesh are very small black balls, so I suspect it could be some sort of filter, but it doesn't seem to relate to any equipment I have. The picture shows the underside of the item, the top is the same except the circular fitting in the middle ( which turns) is not recessed. Does anyone know what they are , or what they fit ? B725
Looks a bit like a filter for a kitchen extractor fan

simonm
Yep, charcoal filters for a kitchen extractor on recirculate mode. If your hood it ducted to the outside, you don't need them.

Cranfield
JACKPOT !!!! Thanks for all responses. We had an extractor hood fitted 15 years ago and as it vents to the outside these filters were never fitted. PW is better than Google.
