Hamster
This is one of my favourite spots of all, the rats have now disappeared into the warm wheat fields leaving me to concentrate on the crows and magpies. The cow slurry pit is about 2 acres in size and I'm reliably informed over 6 feet deep so unfortunately I am unable to place decoys on it where I'm certain they'll draw them in constantly, you should just be able to make out some of the slain in the centre but sadly as the kills mount up they start to put them off as they don't all lie in a natural angle. The distances varied from 71 to 85 yards for the crows and I killed 3 magpies too the furthest being 112 yards.
