webber
This gun has been around for a while now, although I have not yet seen one in the flesh. I also remember thinking that it was seriously over priced. webber
Baldrick
The Italian 'Cosmi' break-open semi-automatic has been around for decades, although the Cosmi, like the Beretta, is as rare as rocking horse manure. I saw a couple crop up at Holt's auctions over the last few years, and they all went for several thousand pounds. Check the link: http://www.oldfriendscompany.com/pdfs/cosmi.pdf
08shooter
the gun has been halte and held back due to cycling issues, would nt matter when it came its out of my price range  nice lookiing bit of kit though
leeboy
The gun has been around for at least a couple of years. I saw a review of it in one of the mags and as I remember he rated it quite highly. I have however never seen one and I have heard there were some technical issues. As well as the price issue ! Oly
Would be perfect if it were downward ejecting like the new browning too...if the price tag was right too of course!!
leeboy
Would be perfect if it were downward ejecting like the new browning too...if the price tag was right too of course!! Agreed ! I really like the idea of the downward ejection, it would make life much easier when it comes to picking up spent shells. I didn't know there was a new browning with bottom ejection, I'll have a look at that. I know that the Remington 105 CTI has had a lot of problems that I dont think have been totally sorted yet and it is apparently very cartridge fussy. Its a shame as it is a nice looking gun and feels good in the shoulder. Leeboy

MC
It is downward ejecting, the cartridge on the side is the unfired one in the magazine. Perfect compromise for pheasant shoots

Floating Chamber
The Cosmi has been around for nearly 50 years! It is mentioned on page 131 in the 1958 copy of Richard Arnold's book: 'Automatic and Repeating Shotguns'. In 1958 they cost £360 compared to £450 for a new Mini the following year! That was a lot of money! Fags were 15p (equiv.) for 20! and Yellow Wizard Shells were 12/6d for 25 (62p full rec retail!) Purchase Tax was 33%!
