PPP
What do you guys use to clean scopes and binos? I’ve been using Zeis wipes but not convinced!
Muddy Funker
I use a glass specific e cloth, seems to work well without scratching.
Walker570
Call in at your eyeglass shop and buy a bottle of spray...a couple of quid and last for ages ...and they will often throw in a proper cloth. DO NOT use kitchen paper, toilet roll and such it is abrasive.
Dougy
If your really pernickety, use a blower brush prior to cleaning. That will remove any possible detritus on the lense that could scratch them while cleaning with a cloth.
Longstrider
I just blow hard on mine to remove any loose dust and then wipe with one of those little disposable wet-wipes for spectacles. Never had any problems with this method. You can keep a couple of sachets of wet wipe in your shooting bag and not know they're there until you need them.
