Eyefor Posted March 27, 2019 Report Share Posted March 27, 2019 I don't work for WPD but we have had several dealings with them in recent months regarding power poles on our land, disconnecting an existing 3ph supply plus re-routing 1ph to new build house. Made a few contacts and all the service we've had had been great and everybody seemed very happy in their jobs. Additionally the partner of a nephew has worked for them for years and she seems very happy in her job. Don't know if any of that helps. Seems like a decent outfit - they took over all of the power network in the Midlands and we had to update the network maps. Always good communication and information. I have also worked against them on compensation matters for the removal of equipment and closure of wayleaves. Very thorough and a properly founded business.
