Cranfield
My wife is going to stay with my daughter in Dublin, for a long weekend in October, so today I booked her flight online. Leaving on a Thursday midday and returning the next Monday afternoon, the total fare with RyanAir was £31.40 return. This was made up as follows; Fare................................£00.02p Tax and Airport charges....£20.08p Luggage............................£10.00p Debit card charge..............£01.30p How do they do it ? LEFTY478
That's outrageous! How can they justify charging you £1.30 for a debt card booking But, 'two pence' return, that is bloody good value! :o

Fly up really high, turn engines off, put engine noise on speakers in cabin and glide to destination. pin
The real answer is to do with filling the odd empty seat, more chance of selling you a sarnie or some in flight goods. Then there's the promotion, you came on here and told thousands of people how cool Ryan Air are, that's worth a fortune
Whitebridges
**** it's gone up. Last time I went over it was £29.99 return Stansted to Kerry.
webber
Oh dear, I am saddened, not because Mrs. & Ms Cranfield are going to enjoy a jolly in Dublin, oh no; but they are flying RYANAIR. Can I please remind PW members that RYANAIR refuse to carry firearms. Therefore may I encourage all shooters to avoid this airline if at all possible. Unfortunatley principles sometimes have a price. webber
pin
I don't think I have ever disagreed with a word you have said webber, but this is silly. Not flying with an airline who support lentil-bashing vegan lesbianism and LACS, fine. Flying on the odd jolly when you don't need to take a gun, fine too. I don't mind people not wanting to carry firearms, I am sure it adds costs, training and procedures they could easily do without.

Pin I can see where you are coming from, but expand your thinking a little further. So Ryanair, are supported by shooters for refusing to carry firearms, for no other reason other than policy. They are happy to carry golf clubs, fishing rods etc. So Ryanair get away withit. So airline x, y, & z decide that they wont carry guns either, at what point do you protest? Personally I would only fly Ryanair as a last resort, if I had to pay more to an alternative I would, but like I said principles have a price, morral and financial. My main point is that shooters could easily be routinley supporting Ryanair with their business, who refuse to carry guns, when they may be able to patronise an alternative airline who will carry guns should the need arise. Now I dont really think thats is silly! webber
