butchdickason
Hi Mate, I used to have the same problem, mine was because I had a dial up connection and there can only be one user at a time, AOL resolved the problem with a DSL broadband kit, suggest you telephone the AOL help line and I am sure they will sort it out for you. Cheers Butch
Stuu
Death, You said you have broadband already, in this instance butches reply would be inaccurate. Thats for dial up users only. Sounds to me like the voice calls are interupting the Broadband data. Have you got your mircofilters fitted correctly?
cartridge
you need one of these on every phone point its called a microfilter
lurcherboy
you need one of these on every phone point its called a microfilter But they don't work if you have a monitored alarm system LB
pob
I thought that lack of a micro filter affected the phone not the broadband..... however, it sounds plausible. Spaniel
Yep had the same probs myself until I fitted the Micro filters and now everything is OK
pin
you need one of these on every phone point its called a microfilter But they don't work if you have a monitored alarm system LB Ideally if you have gone to the bother of a monitored alarm system you should install a new line with redcare and run it off that. stevethevanman
We have talk talk broadband and I can use te internet and mrs can be on the phone in another room, exept are broadband is not wireless, we have a microfillter installed on the modem though. When you set up a wireless router you can be pretty shure there will be a technical hitch of some sort. Steve
