Starting 12th August, whilst I think it's a great idea, have basc not considered the fact you don't see half the rubbish as the vegitation is too long? This is really good PR opportunity ahead of the start of the season. Plastic in the ocean , on beaches and the damage to wildlife is big news. Beach cleans guarantee good PR. Guatanteed the powers that are working against us will be trying to fill the news with negative stories relating to wildfowling at the same time so every little helps. Probably not driving any change but there is nothing I have the most than seeing my places littered with cmapers (or fisherman's) leftovers...
