gustav
Can anybody tell me whether the choke tubes for Classic guns will interchange with any more commonly encountered brands? As always I will be very grateful to any contributor who is able to answer the question as asked.

Gordon R
If we are talking about the Classic Doubles from the late 1980s, they are Winchester chokes, which also fit Browning.
Smokersmith
Yep ... Winchester Invector
Scully
Yep, Winchokes, which also fit S&W pumps incidentally.
gustav
Thank you to everyone who has made a useful contribution. However I am still slightly uncertain because it is my understanding that Winchokes and Winchester Invectors have slightly different thread lengths and noses. Can anybody set my mind at rest with any certainty on this point ?
Gordon R
You might be getting confused with Invector Plus. Winchokes and Browning Invector chokes are interchangeable.
Smokersmith
Not sure on this Gordon. Winchokes and Winchester Invectors can interchange. But when you look at the Browning invectors they have slightly different dimensions. I think they fit, but not as well. Bentos
Go onto the teague website, measure your chokes against the Teague chokes for the classic doubles problem solved, its its what I did and if memory serves they are invector chokes, fit a 1987 classic doubles sporting. In fact just dug out the receipt it reads classic doubles invector flush....
