Docleo Posted January 7, 2020 Report Share Posted January 7, 2020 I think it could be a "Contento" (from the name of the italian gunmaker) model Sanremo. Gunman Posted January 8, 2020 Report Share Posted January 8, 2020 This but plate style is very common on continental guns . .I would look for ant makers marks , initials or other logos on the barrel lumps that may be confused with proof marks . Many guns were imported form Italy in the late 60's and through the 70's bearing no makers name but were marketed under a variety of names by a large number of people .
