twenty
A hoopoe spotted in Upton St Leonards (Gloucester) yesterday, being chased by a magpie...........Hoopoe sightings in the UK not that unusual these days, especially with the recent weather, but still nice to see them here. KFC
That's something I'd love to see is a Hoopoe in the wild in the UK. Judging from these posts they are starting to move a bit further north so there is a chance before I fall off me perch.

Hopefully you will get to see one in the UK, from March onwards of this year, there have been many sightings across the whole of the country. On the 15th May one was even recorded in Shetland, with most counties across England recording sightings, and into Wales. Good Luck. Quite a lot of sightings of Hoopoe already this year, From Devon and Cornwall to Shetland, with many counties in between, plus Wales.
