biketestace
Hi peeps, Got a probs with my car, 2.2td 2012 crv. It will free rev out of gear, but when under load it bogs down big time (anything over 2000rpm) This was a intermittent fault that happened every now and then, but it happens all the time now.. I have no fault lights coming up on the dash, so my mechanic plugged his reader in which identified the car etc but after 12% of its health check it shut down ? Before i take to Honda, does anyone have any idea ? Paul

bottletopbill
Had 2006 crv would run for a twenty miles then cough and splutter then would restartt straight away run normal. Put on new sensors and bit still done the same. Last resort gave it oil filter and oil change as run great since done the same symptoms as yours is doing. Remimax
yep i'd agree with oowee boost leak somewhere or faulty MAF sensor. you can test the MAF while its running with a meter for the small variable voltage output or just unplug it see if there's any change in running. egr valve could be a suspect as well. plenty of vids on youtube Edited June 1, 2020 by Remimax
