steve_b_wales
I'm looking for a good quality set of mounts for my new scope/rifle. I don't want to spend £100's though. What's out there that can be recommended?
bornfree
i purchased a secondhand scope off ebay and the seller left a set of sportsmatch tikka mounts on it . lucky as i put it on a tikka 243. been on for about a year with no problems. i would have put warne mounts on normally at 3 times the price. Newbie to this
If you do use https://www.tacticalscope.co.uk Make sure to use the 5% discount code, I think it is FTB55 from memory.

A bolt 22.250
Don’t Owen any myself but I have heard good things about sportsmatch mounts.
steve_b_wales
Thanks for all the advice etc. The mounts will be used on a new Hawke 30mm scope which will be fitted to my new Howa 1500 in .308. The rail will be a Picatinny one. To be honest, I’ve got various ones but not sure of the makes. I’ll have a look but don’t mind buying a new set.
