lksopener
I am hopeless at sharpening knifes, can anyone recommend a easy one use knife sharpener?
JTaylor91
Lansky do some good kits depending on how much you want to spend. The kits they do will set you back between £45 and £85 or they do a simpler set up for about £25 Lansky Sharpeners Standard Sharpening System https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000B8L6LI/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_h7w4EbD1VQZ00 Lansky Professional Sharpening System https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B001KN3OKO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_n8w4Eb4QCZJ8X Lansky Deluxe Sharpening System https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000B8L6LS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_N8w4EbZS2WRY0https://www.knivesandtools.co.uk/en/pt/-lansky-deluxe-turnbox-crock-stick-sharpener.htm Edited June 10, 2020 by JTaylor91
GingerCat
Lanksy turn box. Couldn't be easier. The other kits are a little more than most need.
NoBodyImportant
If you give me an old fashion wet stone and a hour I can screw up every knife in your house. So I bought a Ken onion work sharp and it’s amazing. .250 in thick kabar
Houseplant
Having tried Lansky, Warthog, a cheap electric sharpener, fixed blade sharpeners and whetstones, I think the Warthog system is the best combination of ease of use, results and cost. My previously hairy left forearm is now beautifully hairless! I use this spot to test blade sharpness. If it's sharp enough to shave with, it'll fillet a fish. akey
Lansky Turn box and a leather strop. I needed to sharpen a few knives recently and I am no good with a stone so I got the Lansky a few weeks ago and its a fantastic bit of kit for knives up to about 8 inches. Easy to use and great results. Have a quick look on youtube for the reviews.
