And a very nice gun as well! According to the guidelines as long as it’s half chokes or less
London Best
If he has the chokes taken out to imp cyl and half or less he will find he really, really does shoot a lot more stuff.

Just more scaremongering. bounce back? from what .. how close is your quarry ? Well, I do have some experience of shooting quarry (feathered pigeons and furry rabbits) in a quarry (stone extraction type), and have also tried to shoot clay pigeons and clay rabbits in a stone quarry. I have never experienced ricochet from fur or feather, but I can assure you that pellets will sometimes bounce off a hard stone surface. Many people need to control rabbits, rats, etc, in places where there are rocks and stones on the ground. Vermin control sometimes involves shooting near stone/brick/concrete/steel buildings. I am not convinced that a mention of ricochet in such situations should be described as "just more scaremongering". Regarding claims that pictures of damaged barrels have been faked, the sequence of posts is rather puzzling: "Most of the pictures on the internet of guns damaged by steel shot are bull/fake/erroneous." "And you know this for a fact how?" ".....the pictures are false made up by people who have no clue" "Is there actual evidence that those pictures are false?" "is there any proof to say they are real ?" "Your statement that “the pictures are false” seems to be just a personal opinion....." "..... we asked to see the pictures so far none have been presented." Do these "faked" pictures actually exist?

Below is a quote direct from the university / cranfield- on steel shot ricochets All shot can ricochet. This is most likely to occur off rocks or other hard surfaces and, to a lesser extent, water and trees. There is evidence that steel ricochets slightly more than lead, but this is in a more predictable path [1]. The fact remains that an unsafe shot with lead is an unsafe shot with steel. [1] – Ricochet & Bounce Back Studies Using Steel & Lead Shot: Dr DF Allsop, Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, Cranfield University (2009). Not sure about the second half of your post. i said i do not believe that the pictures i have seen in the past are real along with Motty. We asked to see some to have a look. nothing has been supplied as yet. ....

Or is that a guess my main issue is there’s a lot of people saying you’re probably be ok it should be alright spend money on having it altered shoot more expensive cartridges no one can or will say definitely not one manufacturer has come up with a pattern sheet for a gun pattern full with lead 1/2 with steel and I’m not talking multi chokes here Maybe you could recommend a good gunmaker that specialises in bore and regulation of shotguns for steel with a bio wad I imagine you might choose 3s or 4s to shoot in your gun. If the gun was mine, I would leave It as it is and use 3s or 4s.
