steve_b_wales
What species do these leaves belong to? I've got a load of mixed ones, ready for moving on. I think the third one could be my American Red Oak that I planted.
Walker570
Hmmmm the red oks I have have spiky ends to the lobes that one looks more like a sesile (hope I've spelled that right) the other looks like a hazel to me, the middle one I wouldn't like to guess at. Walker570
My red oaks have yet to produce acorns so don't believe it was me. I did send you a bunch of other stuff and that oak leaf looks very much like those on my old oak (180plus). I'll get some photos of my red oak leaves later. Both of the others may be hazels but without seeing them in real life cannot be sure. Any time now my walnuts will be opening up and I will save some for you. Should be a bumper year as I have had to put stakes under the lower branches and one top branch has given way under the weight.

ClemFandango
Walker is right, Sessile oak and Hazel. The middle one could be Black Walnut? That's a Black Walnut if it helps.
