I have grown up, down, around but still yearn for two wheels and the Laverda endurance racer would be just the ticket Martin.

what you want is ghost riders turbo busa 200mph wheelies .

He's retired, nuff said.

I think the bottom bike is a BRITTON, very famous bike, with a sad history. Back when these came out, they were very advanced for their time, still quicker then some modern bikes. The 'bike' is built to the engine, there is no real chassis. Lovely machine :)

Well spotted Hunter. I have followed the bike since the old boy created it, RIP BTW, and it's a shame no one will take on it's production.

The bike is awesome and that was with a one man band developing it imagine the outcome if some wedge was thrown at it :)

Thanks for the replies chaps  Now what about a this?

SCARY BEAST

My mate has a company called Steelheart Engineering Martin. His is one of those guys that can do and make anything. He builds frames that enable the V-Max go round corners and you would love him. There is only one bike on the market that he wont touch and thats the Ducati as the frames can't really be improved on other than a slight weight reduction if he builds them from ali.

I will get you a link to some of his work.

Check out the welding mate

Second link is no longer available Martin, was it good?

i guess its link not working day LB, try this one

http://www.allpar.com/cars/concepts/tomahawk.html

as i hope you can see, some very clever muppets figured out how to take a V10 Viper engine out the car and stick a bloody frame round it, from a purly engineering point of veiw brilliant, from a riders point of veiw screw that, apparently no-one has opened this thing up ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,yet.

now if your a regular cruising guy like me, this may take your fancy, this muppet took the engine from my truck , V8 5.3 litre engine and stuffed it in this setup

called a boss hog

http://www.daytonabosshoss.com/

maniacs, try laying that into the corners of mevagissy in cornwall,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Martin

That bike is just rude Martin and not for me mate as it's in the realm of a tractor on two wheels, like a Harley.

Will work on the Steelheart site for you mate.

Not quite in the same league but had a go on my brothers SV 1000 today, the half faired version. What a cracking bike, easily ridden and well behaved with a decent riding position.

Roughly translated a hooligans tool, loves to be up on one wheel and easy to get the knee down. The bike for wheelie schools and definately one to surprise born agains on their pristine gixers etc

The Britten is the bike that killed a friend of mine in the I.O.M TT His name was Mark Farmer , The owner and designer also past away that year if i remember wright. also the pink things attached to the engine are actually spoilers to add drag to keep the front wheel down

Sorry to hear that was one of your muckas Winchester  I thought the rider died in the states not that makes any difference as death is a death........... period.

The designer died of cancer way before he should have as he was one of the last century's real gems.

I watched the video of him making the crankcases at home and when he couldn't cool them quickly enough he ran them to his indoor pool and dumped them in it.

He must have patented his ideas as the slit eyes haven't stolen them yet.

One of those few individuals that can talk the talk and do the walk :)

aren't motorcyclists known as organ donors by medical staff ?

i don't see the fascination myself,....then again, if i had a small manhood, wanted to dress like a power-ranger and couldn't afford a porsche, I would seriously consider converting to two wheels.

but,....while I am a hetrosexual.... :)
