blasting cans HMR.ref to(for all you none believers22vs17hmr)

I tried to put this on to (for all you none believers 22vs17hmr)thread, but i couldn't add the picture,went out today and shot two cans 1 without water and 1 with, using cci tnt 17gr,the one blew apart was full of water,and the one with 2 holes in it was empty.

I went out with the .22 and .17HMR yesterday. I shot rabbits with both and they all died!

You should have seen what happened to a full can (un opened) beer hit with my .222CF

 

you could smell beer vapour in the air from 40 meters away.

 

 

 

As to .22LR/.17HMR, they do a similar job.. but at the end of the day, providing you get clean kills, it really doesnt matter what you choose that works for you

we used a 6mm PPC @ 300yrds - a whole lot of fun and you can see the spray with the naked eye ( got it video somewhere, i'll try and dig it out)

So, the snail lived ? Aren't 17HMRs that accurate then ?

 

Can someone please post a picture of a 17HMR round after it has been hit by a tin of Harp ?

They are accurate enough,just don't have the penetration to get through the shell.
