Hello, this is not the usual PCP charging cylinder type we use but I purchased 5 years ago with a full test by a company in the Midlands, now out of test and Oxford Dive shop refused to Re Test and not a reason although I think wanted me to buy a new cylinder kit ££££ssss, I declined anyway, any PW member know on cylinder testing, or could I sell with no test, ? Cheers

Have you got a airsoft set up nearby they may fill with no test I did a job for a lad who does a lot of it and he said they test them and fill them so might be worth a look

Hello, thanks to reply, there are no local ones I know off, I might try another dive centre that has a Air rifle PCP filling side near Swindon , but to be honest they may be like Oxford Dive shop and not interested as not the normal 300bar set up, I have seen people sell out of test cylinders so may look at that,

Thing is .who would buy an out of test cylinder .? And for what money .

To my mind an out of test cylinder is worth nothing and only fit to give away .

Say I buy your cylinder for £  50

And a test costs me £50 (current going rate ) and it fails and is scrapped .

I'm now £100 down and have no cylinder  .

Your best option is to test it your self for the £50  and then sell it for £100 -150  depending on size etc . You take the  test risk and reward if successful  .

A bottle that no one wants to test is worth less than £ zero in my opinion  .

Harsh but unfortunately true. My brother in law is an ex diver and tried to sell all his old equipment. Bottles out of date and no second mask. He was advised to scrap the lot as worthless.
