Jimbob93
Good afternoon all and Happy New year! I have a 2019 Browning 525 game that is fitted with a stick on hi Vis bead. The original bead is no longer and I want to remove the stick on hi Vis and replace with a standard screw in bead. I have found the bead I would like but I am unsure of the size as I see the sizes can vary. I am just wondering if anybody knows what size I would need? Many thanks James
Walker570
Leave it off and just look at the bird.
Smokersmith
Not bad advice ... But more helpful is 3.0mm You can get the right ones off eBay.
London Best
Fifty years ago I had a mate who always removed the bead from his guns.
Smokersmith
A certain Mr R Faulds is still shooting 100 straights at sporting without a bead.
London Best
I’m sure I wouldn’t notice if mine fell off. Maybe when I got home and cleaned the gun.
DUNKS
All excellent advice. But I have a similar gun and 3mm is correct. No need to take it off though if you never see it.
