well this is a can of worms..been doing some searching and found loads of answers, take ya pic???

What are young squirrels called?

They are called babies or infants while in the nest. Then for their first year they're referred to as Juveniles. After their first year, they become adults and are simply called squirrels.

You lot really need to try hunting them with a squirrel dog. One of the best sports around, with lots of action and squirrels harvested. And you get to have a dog with you. Most terriers will work well for this if you train them to hunt the squirrels up, bark and stand on the tree...or sit under and bark up.

or steer him off corse???

Catroofel,

No it should not disrupt your rat training in the least. If you give me a couple of days I will put some pictures and a discription on how to start up for you. Do you have lots of squirrels local to you?
