Ultrastu
Just a couple of hours on the crows with my single shot .410 . I set up in a location I've never tried before. They certainly weren't expecting me hidden there 35 crows and jds and a single pigeon . Cart ratio was about 2:1 Wish I had a multi shot .as the bag would have been x2 the size . Still good fun and cart choice today was gamebore 16 grm of no 6 .

Don't believe you shot those with a a .410 as you need 2oz BB's. Only joking mate tip my hat to you well done good shooting just shows put a .410 in the right hands they kill and kill well. 👍👏
Ultrastu
Have to admit I dropped some lovely long range stuff around 35 yds and a bit more . Most shot were around 20 - 25 yds though which is bread and butter for this gun . I went with the lighter loads 16 grm as opposed to the usual 18 or 19 . As they are quieter and found they did the business just fine
JDog
Yes good effort. Sixteen grams? You will know that it has oft been said on this forum that Crows need a minimum of 32 gram no.5.
Ultrastu
I've just bought some 32 grm no 6 for my new 12b .they do drop the crows well . But these were not so high and definitely not out of range . The single shot really tends to concentrate the mind as you know there is no follow up .and as such hit ratio can be pretty high . Walker570
Yes, I shoot full and full on decoyed birds and later on driven pheasant / partridge. I'm on a partridge day next week, over the hedges traditional and will be shooting half and half on fast 20 to 30 yards birds. Five years now exclusively on the 410, over a hundred driven days and never felt undergunned. Great little cartridge.
