Anyone owned or used one of these, if so, any good? Reason for asking is, I’ve seen them at £185.

I put my money on one started galling straight out of the box fixed sold bought a quality pcp like I should have done in the first place lesson learned don’t buy cheap or springers

Hello, there's been a lot of posts on the AGW about  HW springers galling , their QC has gone down in recent years, I had a 95 K 177 years ago and it was perfect out the box, I still see people buying HW springers but there stripped down first and given an internal clean and fitted TBT tune kit,

Yerr, I’ve got a v-Mach 99 custom, and very nice it is too, but I thought one of these might be worth a punt?

I shot a break barreled version of one of these  remmingtons a while back .it was very sweet shooting and impressed me muchly  for the money .

As ALWAYS  if you can try before you buy (almost essential with any springer ) then you can get a good one..

The next one along in the rack could be a dog .but get the right one and it can be amazing .the remmingtons are certainly better than most other cheap springers at that price point  and above .
