enfieldspares
Gun is a boxlock non-ejector with 26" barrels and a flat filed rib like was on the AYA Yeoman non ejector. Length of pull from front trigger to centre of rear of butt is just under 14.25". The forened is the classic Anson rod not a "snap on" or Hackett catch type. Use postcode LE9 2AL as a guide for Sat Nav. I am five hundred yards from there. GUN IS ALSO ADVERTISED ELSEWHERE. Barrels are proved .410" for 76mm (3") and flats are stamped 1100Kp/cm. Right barrel has four ++++ and left barrel has three +++. So if the internet is to be believed and the chokes are unaltered that's LEFT *** 1/2 choke 60% in 30" circle at 40 yds RIGHT **** 1/4 choke 50% in 30" circle at 40 yds. I am selling it as it is really IMHO a .410" for someone who wants to duplicate the "feel" of a 12 bore as it weighs 6lbs 4ozs! £275 ONO CASH ON COLLECTION ON PRESENTATION OF VALID SGC WITH SPACE FOR IT IN TABLE 2 OR VALID RFD. 100 CARTRIDGES WILL BE INCLUDED AS A GIFT TO THE SELLER IF FULL PRICE PAID. holloway
Now that is what a gun advert should look like ! Proper description… good pictures and accurate location ,most of the gun shops on Guntrader should take note and they might sell a few more guns. enfieldspares
Yes DITCHMAN! If I'd have known it was that heavy I'd not have bought it. It's a good gun, have no doubt, just over heavy for bore. My 16 bore French Manufrance Robust BLE weighs one ounce less at 6lbs 3 ozs. And that's its stock lengthened to fifteen and a half inches. This really is the .410" for the man or woman who wants to retain the feel of their 12 bore!
222mark
My o/u .410 weigh's in at 7lb and shoots like a dream. A lot to be said for a heavier .410. Good luck with the sale.
London Best
Just now, 222mark said: My o/u .410 weigh's in at 7lb and shoots like a dream. A lot to be said for a heavier .410. Good luck with the sale. Each to their own, but I wouldn’t have a 12 bore that heavy! The whole point of a .410 is light weight.
222mark
Just trying to help with the sale. But yes my 12 is lighter by a few ounce, the .410 handles really well.
