bruno22rf
Never seen such a gun before but there's one for sale on Guntrader, they say it's a sideplate but it clearly isn't and I'm pretty sure it's a Prevettato ( translates as "anticipation") anybody ever heard of one before? Shame about the awful butt pad, doesn't look like it belongs on that gun!
bruno22rf
A bit of research makes it look like it may be a mistake on the picture if you google it, the gun might be a "Brevettato", built in the 60's by Pedersoli (who worked for Beretta previously) and only made "normal" shotguns for about 10 years before switching to replicas etc.

Now that wouldn't look out of place on the pheasants.
enfieldspares
It'd look bloomin' awful! Heck! It already looks blomin' awful! Edited April 2, 2022 by enfieldspares
JohnfromUK
The breech area and rectangular top closure bolt looks (in images found via Google) much like the Beretta SO series. The lock pin placings may well be like a Beretta, but Beretta have changed the lock designs considerably over the years.
arjimlad
Brevettato is Italian for "Patented". It's not a model name. I suspect they've misread the engraving. Bit like when you see a gun described as "Acciaio" which just means "steel".
