retromlc
A gun made by a particular manufacturer will,if built for a certain discipline will be very similar in feel, slightly different grip or weight but will feel too similar , so £1500 Beretta will feel like a £3000 Beretta. I would go on guntrader, set your parameters e.g barrel length , stock cast and LOP etc without a brand and see what pops up, you might see something you never thought of and try it and it'll be what you are looking for Edited September 13, 2022 by retromlc
Gordon R
A Miroku MK38 Grade 1 for £1500 will shoot exactly the same as a £3000 Grade 5. Leaving Krieghoff, Perazzi etc aside, once you get above £1500 you are basically getting better wood and more engraving.

Lloyd90
My BIL just bought a Beretta 694. It certainly doesn’t feel just like a silver pigeon with better wood. Feels totally different and he is chuffed to bits with it.
