30-6 Posted September 11, 2022 Report Share Posted September 11, 2022 I have been finding these spherical green things deep in plant pots, more so in strawberries. There never seem to be many, but last year a container of strawberries just withered and died, and I remember thinking there was more in that one than usual. There never seem to be many, but last year a container of strawberries just withered and died, and I remember thinking there was more in that one than usual. more than likely Vine weevil grubs, they are white/cream in colour and about 7mm long, I get them every year in the strawberry containers, you don't know you have got them till the plant starts wilting in spring, best is, they have banned all effective treatments for food crops.
