Bullet entry and exit

Shot this Roe using 308 Sako Gamehead. She was no more than 40 yards away, on a bank above my position.

The entry was low chest (behind the elbow) marked A, the bullet exited high, near the spine, marked B, same side. Its as if the bullet was curled 180. No damage to the ribs opposite.

Anyone seen this happen ?

Seen similar times. Bullets often do strange things when they strike something.

I once shot a Munty standing about a yard to the right of a pheasant drinker. Range was 80 yards. The 150 grain .308 bullet entered behind the right shoulder, struck the left shoulder blade and turned left exiting just in front of the left haunch. It then entered the drinker travelling at 45 degrees to it’s original path and followed the inside radius of the drinker to exit at 90 degrees right of the original path.
