Nice bit of crop protection

It was a nice windy day so started with the geese but that plan didn’t quite work out as there was enough of a moon for them still to be all inland on the fields rather than in the firth.

Not wanting to waste the conditions I went on the hunt for some pigeons and found a good pile of them on some rape.  I decided to try and flight them along the edge of the field and it proved quite successful even if I say so myself!  Some tricky shooting when they were downwind but a lot better upwind.  15 isn’t a huge bag by pigeon watch standards but for my area that’s a great result for 3 hrs and 21 shots.
