Finally got a chance to try the R10 day off work up and out for first light got setup on a fairly local cattle  farm net draped over gate on one of the empty sheds my view for a couple of hours 20230418_093231.jpg.515d0a652aaeda8b64486b1a922dc5d7.jpg

no sooner as l get sat down there's a couple of birds walking around the yard it's a quick dig in the pocket lookin for a magazine r10 up on the sticks and the QYS 9.56gr drops the first of the day other one dose the usual squawking seeing its mate on its back it surprising where they come from once the alarm goes out good few birds circling showing their disapproval soon as things calm down I'm out to retrieve it and set it up as a decoy 20230418_072601.jpg.3112c54e16f0561a1ec661e38bc0957e.jpg

not long before they are back and straight down onto the troughs take a nice big rook with a headshot 20230418_072636.jpg.1749faf76e54c8987c4fa77e561753d6.jpg

drop the next from the roof but falls into the pen to my right it can stay there till the cattle move im not keen entering the pen with cattle few feral pigeon come in next essay targets but they have to go bit of a wait before they are back jackdaws and rooks drop one on the roof was a bit of a struggle getting it down as its putting the rest off set another up as a decoy see if it brings them down any easier 20230418_090905.jpg.644e90119f01f69a070082b44a805217.jpg

they are getting a bit skittish now each time they come back they know something is waiting get another couple in-between long waits 20230418_072444.jpg.aea7b821cde24573b304927740edb53c.jpg

Well think that'll do for first outing as the farm dog is being a bit of a nuisance following me around finished with 8 and a couple of ferals hopefully l don't have to wait to long for the next outing 20230418_093125.jpg.93945b6fccc84607d318a6bcbb1a00b8.jpg
