yates
Following my previous question and many informative responses i have another question. I have commenced a gardening business and have purchased a couple of items that will require two stroke fuel. Following my previous mistake of using E10, I will now be using super unleaded but which oil would you mix it with and would you also add the ethanol too. I don't want to ruin my new equipment
B725
Sthil one shot to 5 litres of premium petrol. No need for any additives. Edited July 16, 2023 by B725
strimmer_13
Use this stuff, not the red. Buy via 1ltr or 5ltr.
Jim Neal
Stihl Super or Husqvarna XP (both green colour, the higher performance grades). For the price difference it's false economy using the cheaper stuff. Don't do what I did years ago and run a high performance machine using moped additive which burnt out the piston & pot! yates
Thank you, I bought some stihl all in one 2 stroke fuel for my strimmer a couple weeks ago. Guaranteed to be safe to leave in the machine fir 4 years but at £7.85 a litre its not affordable.
London Best
I’m still using the gallon tin of Valvoline which I used in outboards in the 70’s/80’s.
