it appears Richard gallyon no longer has them

Yes his daughter replied and said he had retired and that they no longer had the records

That's a bit of a disappointment,  Richard was always very helpful whenever I contacted him re Webley. I recently  tried myself to talk with him,on the same subject, but could only make contact with the new owners of Gallyons. Unfortunately  they were most unhelpful and didn't return calls or reply to emails. Such is modern life!

 I hope Richard  enjoys his retirement.
