Rat Boy
As the nights draw in the rats will become more prevalent. Can anybody recommend a reasonable priced night vision scope to go on my HW 100. I normally shoot around the farm from inside my Freelander, I cannot afford £1000 scopes. Rat Boy
I could go to £500 max. At the moment I use a normal scope with a Red LED torch attached. I normally rest the air rifle on the top of the drivers window so nothing over tall would work.
Whitester
Go for a pard 007. I use mine for everything from rats to foxes . At ratting ranges the on board ir is perfect so you won’t have to splash out on an extra one for more range. Get the 12 mm version as the 16 mm maginifes the ret and the base mag is 1.7 which is not needed for close range. If you already have a scope with an adjustable parallax then you just bolt it on. If not get a second hand Hawke sidewinder or endurance with a base mag of 3 or 4. the pards are £285 new and a second hand Hawke can be had for around £160.
