steve_b_wales Posted November 22, 2023 Report Share Posted November 22, 2023 Nothing wrong with the Ruger 10/22, however, for better accuracy, you could look at a bolt action rifle such as a CZ452. Mine, with a target barrel, will shoot all sorts of subsonic without problems and is as accurate as a bolt action. I've seen others that are fussy and less accurate and some poorly made new rifles. Mullard83 Posted November 23, 2023 Report Share Posted November 23, 2023 Mine works reasonably well enough on most subsonic ammo. I use mainly cci through mine. CCi stingers are a bit noisier, but work well accuracy wise on the 100 yd range. Not sure if your a member of Cambridge Gun Club, but if you are, then I`d take mine there for you to try. In standard form it had a 7.5LB pull but my gunsmith brought it down to 2.75LB and I shoot much better with it, I'm not pulling to the right before it fires. I've found that its more accurate than I am and have yet to find a reason too dislike it. Buy it asap you wont regret it, just be careful Modding them can become addictive! I use a CZ452 for most of my rabbit control but I've bought a S&W MP 15-22 fo semi aoti use. Great on targets so far but I haven't tried it on vermin as yet.
