JDog
My first foray into the local wood this winter was this afternoon. I have watched it late afternoon and a few pigeons were using it. I have a favourite position in the wood and headed straight for it. The mixed deciduous trees swayed in the wind. I missed the first three, told myself off, then shot six for twelve shots. I could have stayed longer but the midges were eating me alive. TIGHTCHOKE
Far too warm really, I am out on Saturday and hope I don't get midged.
Old Boggy
That`s one of my favourite, if not, the favourite type of shooting. I`m out tomorrow, so hoping for a few shots as the forecast is for quite a breezy afternoon. OB

marsh man
Up until today we would have had far to many leaves left on the trees for good roost shooting unless you were on the outside of the wood , today we have had a good blow and a lot of leaves were brought down so should now be clear enough to get inside of the wood , mind you very , very little roost shooting is done at this time of the year with the game season now in full swing with most , if not all the woods out of bounds until February . THEINVISIBLESCARECROW
Definately a favorite of mine. Loads of memories compared to sitting in a hide.
