On the television in the week they showed a Cambridgeshire or maybe Lincolnshire farm trying to harvest their spuds with the field virtually flooded and much of the crop rotting and struggling to get their tractors onto the fields.

Of course the media then declared a possible shortage for Christmas to send people into panic mode as they would!

Is this the normal time for East Anglia to harvest their spuds only around here they were harvested weeks ago with a good dry crop.

A lot in Fife where harvested weeks ago but we where in Perth on friday and all we saw was big tractors pulling long trailers with 10/12 potato boxes threw the town centre all day till we left after 4 pm and it was dark and they where still at it . Even if folk go out the now and load up with veg they will go off before xmas
