bruno22rf Posted March 21 Report Share Posted March 21 Lidl 6 chunky cod breaded fish fingers (deluxe range) £2.79 + tin of baked beans 42p + 2 home bake baguettes 55p = a meal for 2 for under £3.80 and it's really nice too. Breaking news also - after Walkers had a poor bash at making Marmite crisps and ceased production - Tayto have started making them, they are completely different to the Walkers version because they now actually have flavour in them. I think you can do a lot worse than the frozen battered/breaded fish cooked up with some homemade chips and peas and a goodly amount of heavily buttered bread!
