Conservative emailed straight back

Wont sign the manifesto as he says he prefers to use his own words

States he has visited shoots - which he has - and if re-elected will try and help more and support shooting and conservation further

All good

Got my shoot friends and colleagues on it too

Circa 100 asked to respond tonight - all in various constituencies

Much better showing for NE Hampshire now, main candidates contactable and the correct candidates showing.

Does seem to have an issue with the email for the incumbent Ranil Jayawardena though, it's using his official email address rather than "candidate" email address. Received this in reply:

They are not MPs anymore, they are candidate MPs - so my understanding is that they can't use their parliamentary email address for their campaigning so it will be whatever personal email address they set up as candidates to be contacted on that will be used on the BASC campaign webpage - when we get all the data in.

That I now understand as the one I've used before bounced back, thank you.

Thanks @jall25and @Mable

BASC's campaign site now has most of the candidates contacts available and views of candidates published. For anyone yet to use the site, or to try again visit:

Used the tool on the 13th of June, nothing of substance at all in NE Hampshire.

One "wrong email address" from the incumbent conservative as noted earlier in the thread and the labour candidate replied that they were too busy to reply. Nothing at all from any of the others.

Reform UK postion in their "Contract with You"

Protect Country Sports
These increase investment and help conservation
of our environment. They boost rural jobs,
communities and local economies.

The email address for the Conservative candidate was updated on 17 June and no answer registered yet for them so maybe give it a go again via the site or directly to ranil@TellRanil.com The Reform candidate is the only candidate so far to have answered emails and is down as supportive of shooting.

Thanks, I have asked. I can't find an email for him myself though - do you have one?

I did that and its only the parliamentary address. So far as I can see no personal email address available.

Yes - but i sent you guys the response from the parliamentary one

Thinking about it - you had it on the website because i sent the manifesto from there

He is not using a personal email address as far as I can see. Some candidates are solely using social media for feedback and not email on the digital front. So for the purpose of the online BASC campaign looks like he will stay as a 'contact unavailable' and 'no answer' on our list for Chesterfield.

That said maybe give the CA campaign a go and see how you get on:

Done that Conor - but as far as i can make out the letter has been sent to either only 1 candidate or to them all but addressed to only 1
