Ethernet cable

My computer is 'attached' to the router by means of a cable that connects to booster that plugs into the mains, and then from the router to another booster connected to the mains (I'm not sure what it's called)

I would like to run a cable from the back on my computer into my television to allow streaming etc. Is there such a thing a double adapter that can connect to my computer and then two leads go from that to the router/television? This is the only way I can get a cable into the television as the router is in my hallway and the computer is in my lounge, approx 3mtrs from the television.

You need a switch - any make will do but this is an example - TP-Link TL-SG105S

Take the cable from the booster out of the PC and plug it in one of the sockets and then two (RJ45) network cables from two of the other sockets to the PC and TV.

That should do you.

I stream direct from phone or laptop to TV. Are you sure you can't do the same.

I don't think so.
