Guest The Outlaw
Has anyone thought of hand rearing one of these cracking looking monsters I would love to have one or two. Or is that a sad idea Tony
Ferret Master
Wild animal. I don't think you would ever have it completely tame like a ferret. FM

Cranfield
I known a few who have tried and failed. They are escape artists and they never forget where they belong.
tuck1
Phil Drabble had a weasel, and wrote a book, I think it was called "A weasel in my meatsafe" or something like that. It can be done, I have friends who have done it, although the lifespan is short.

al4x
funnily enough I had a funny experience with one this morning. I've seen them trailing rabbits before but this morning I saw one trying to run down a rabbit in an open field, it just kept on doing large loops of the field and nearly getting the rabbit but not quite. was fine till my puppy spotted it and jumped the fence and tried to catch the stoat. Luckily she didn't but it was very close but then the stoat disapeared straight up an oak tree in squirrel fashion which i'd never seen before either. tuck1
Funny you should mention that. The missus and terrier were walking the other day and the same thing happened. She took a cracking picture of it on her phone, at a distance of about 2 feet. It stayed up there for a minute or 2, then she called the dog away and it went down and away. She said that it never took its eyes off the dog the whole time. Obviously I gave her a huge ********** for not knocking it out of the tree with a stick! Her reply? "I was a bit scared!" If I can work out how to get a piccy from a phone to here, I'll post it. Anyone?
