BobbyH
Hi and welcome to PW to start with! If it is stamped with the Fleur-de-lis then it is steel proofed, but if it’s fixed choke, don’t shoot steel through anything tighter than 1/2 choke. But if it’s nitro proofed, you can shoot standard steel through it!

Ossie2005
after a bit more digging around the net, still none the wiser, i have worked out that the gun is marked with 1200kp/cm2 and this is a pressure test, the gun is a 3" chamber, do the wise folk on here think that would be ok for steel shot
TIGHTCHOKE
Do you realise there are 2 levels of steel cartridge? You can use the lower level in any gun. The standard manufacturer advice is not to go over 1/2 choke. Most of us ignore this with the lower level of steel cartridge.

Not sure of age but it is pre their newer numbering system where they put country and year of manufacture in the numbering. I have a similar one and mine is definitely not steel shot proofed but as already said you can shoot standard steel through them. If you really want to know it's age there should be a pair of letters stamped on the barrel lumps somewhere. They are a code for the year. Someone on hear has the codes/dates. I might have them somewhere.
JohnfromUK
Date codes here; https://www.shotguns.se/html/spain.html
