Scope focus issues

I have a Tasco 3-9 x50 scope on my weihrauch HW100 and I removed it to get the rifle serviced.

Ive refitted it and I only undid the bolts on the rail nothing else when removing it but now it will focus but when I focus at 30yds I have to have it set at between 100 and 200yds on the dial. I never had this issue before and setting it at about 30 - 50yds was always perfect.

From 0 to 100yds on the focus does not seem to do anything now, it has not been dropped or miss handled in any way its been in my gun safe the whole time.

Has anyone had this issue and is there a fix.

Thanks

The front lens may have moved inside its focusing ring (I'm presuming front objective adjustment  not side focus)

This can usually be rectified bit locating the 2 small slots  right up next to the lens and rotating it independently  to the external adjustment ring. Usually counter clockwise - ie outwards to get your desired  effect .

Any major change in velocity pre and post service might explain why Ultrastu's answer  is the solution.

Its only on a 12ft lb air rifle and I noticed it once I had refitted it before firing any rounds
