Sussex Countryman
Need to reduce price on a gun I have advertised. Can anyone tell me how please?
Dave-G
We can't edit after 24 hours if I recall correctly. Make a reply post to show a reduction is the way to do it here.

As above,,,, but if you want to edit posts in the future, click on the three dots top right of post 😉
Sussex Countryman
Seems silly can't adjust price on ad. Add a post? Surely that relies on somebody actually reading the posts? The three buttons don't give an edit option now. Apparently this option expires a short time after placing the ad. I guess cancel the ad and redo it? Can that be done? Gordon R
There is a minimum time limit for re-advertising anything.

JKD
It's really not complicated,,,, reply to your original sale with new price. If someone is interested and they don't read the whole thread,,,, 🤷♂️
Sussex Countryman
Can cope with "complication". I don't read threads when replying to an ad, as the ad is the main interest. Just seems overly difficult in this technological age. Gunstar and Gun trader ads can be edited at any time, and, yes, the gun is on both. Gordon R
The two other sites charge a fee.
Dave-G
Adjusting the price in a later post also serves to bump it to the front page again too. And to be fair it stops anyone from changing advertised details after an item has been purchased. Edited August 28, 2024 by Dave-G
Acerforestry
I remember your ad I think, the Benelli 80? Well over 3 weeks back. Easiest way is to cut and paste the old ad and start afresh, it'll possibly get more interest
Sussex Countryman
Thanks. Good memory! I've got two ads, one is the Benelli and the other is a Fabarm sbs which is the one I want to alter.
