Always worth chopping up just one scotch bonnet and adding it - scotch bonnet gives an even heat throughout the dish.Buy a handful in your nearest Indian food shop and just freeze them - wear gloves when you chop them up and don't do it with bare hands then go to the loo without washing your hands -don't ask me how I know.

Looks absolutely like I could eat that right now. I like to see a chilli made with chunks of meat rather than mince.

fed up with using that cheap vacumn packet mince...so thought "why not"...

put some Bird chillis in it.....and they were little scorchers...........also popped in a spoonful of black cane sugar...just to smooth it out and darken the end product...............this was sooo easy to make ...fry it up...bung it in the slow cooker for 3.5 hours leave it over night have the next day..............very simple recipe

I don't think that would help to much , years ago I was laid up with a bad back , the Indian doctor prescribed me some Brufen tablets and Co Proximol , these ended up taking some lining off my stomach and food like that would upset my ole belly , I would had more than likely got better without the pills but that is something we will never know , I can eat some Chinese meals as long as they are not to spice'y , now and again I have Chinese chicken in mixed veg, and from M + S I have Beef In Black Bean Sauce , even then I have to take all the Beans out .      MM

Lidl do a chilli sauce, from memory they did a mild version that is really nice - serve with rice with small lumps of butter dotted around and these add little puddles of coolness.

Youtube - Latifs inspired has just done a Chicken Tikka Masala that is very tasty yet mild but make sure the green chillies are mild (look for Jalapeno).

I will certainly try that and do some game casseroles as well , leave them on for most of a Winters afternoon and have them with some fresh veg when I get back home after the days shoot , I will show you the results and if you want any game or fowl yourself then all you need to do is ask and they will be in the kings county before they get a chance to cool off .
