old'un
Are you sure that's a 800S Trap? Looks more like a 7000?
RCB56
I thought Trap guns were always tightly choked, ie 3/4 & full

old'un
Even if it is a 7000 that price is really good as Miroku guns are bomb proof, there’s a 7000 g3 for sale here...https://gun.co.uk/miroku-7000-g3-12g-used-gun31219

Welshways
It was sold to me as a 3800 grade 3, and on research it looks like an earlier model 800. It has the teardrop on the pistol grip which signifies a higher grade. The chokes could have been eased out for sporting which is what I used it for to great effect. It's deffo a 3800 mate, I'd be putting another 300 on that price if the condition is good. Ive seen two lately at 1100 but depends on the condition obviously. 100% not an 800. The 800s are shorter actions with a lipped front edge, I have two myself. Edited November 2 by Bergara-boy

Miroku made these in two stock options. This is certainly an 800 S trap, just checked the chokes and it is actually choked quarter/three quarters, listing edited accordingly. It is probably worth more but I need to clear my entire collection of guns and rifles. Gun trade is very slow right now!

That gun is 29" multi and don't think mine is a 7000. The engraving on the action though is very similar to the 7000. I have a 3800 G3 trap monte carlo for sale on here and and the action is different to this gun. Will check the serial number for any clues there! The serial No. contains letters PM which means manufactured in 1980, Both 800 and 3800 were made at that time. 800S means silver action. Either way this is a quality gun in great condition offered at a very good price.

If you look at the front outside corners they are rounded in, yours are not. Your action is straight cut. Monte carlo stocks were also offered in 3800s. Your action absolutely is not an 800 I'd bet my entire collection on it buddy
Bergara-boy
This is one of my 800sw actions.. see how the front of the action cuts in, a lot like a whinny 101 of the time.
