In the right hands a Rabbit would be nothing out of the ordinary for a good catapult shot , you have only got to look at some of the deadly shots on Youtube , a chap on there clear up the Coxk birds at the end of the season with his catapult while sitting in his land rover with the window open , very few of them move once a stone have hit them between the eyes , another one could cut a playing card in half at a fair distance .  MM

As there's a picture of what looks like a ferret box I would assume they were bolted rabbits, so if he did kill them with a catapult running then he is one hell of a shot with it.:)

I would say it can be done but not by the average person and if the op did do it then it would be good for him to show us how it was done , I did once watch where these guys were walking up Pheasants and knocking them down with a bow and arrow , a bit like John Bidwell trick shooting with a shotgun, some clever people about , sadly I am not one of them :lol:
