That look very nice to come home to after a day out Simon , Chicken look lovely and I thought at first the little pile on the right was home made Apple sauce , I have been trying to wean myself off of eating Chicken but that only lasted one day and even on the one day off I forgot and ate a bit of the last leg before the dog made short work of the hard bits that were left , had a run out today and there are no prizes on offer by guessing what I bought that had been reduced , more bloody Chicken meals , even bought some Scotch eggs with Chicken eggs in the middle  :drinks:.

Yes , I just cannot get away from the versatile Chicken , had last nights tea for tonight , we had a village get together last night in a big barn on the edge of the estate , talk about cold , they had two smokeless big fires but I do feel the cold now , I only had Orange juice and a few eats so I wasn't that hungry when I got home, tonight's tea was dead simple , in the oven for 10 minutes later than stated and t b h it wasn't that bad .   MM

Looks great MM, just to keep to the chicken theme, I had a lovely chicken and leek pie for lunch and cleared up more of the Christmas veg.

I got some gift vouchers for Christmas so half the stuff I bought today was with the Waitrose voucher , got some good buys but Chicken  was the main theme , I got Scotch Eggs , Scotch eggs with the runny yolk , Chicken in ginger and soya sauce , Char grilled Chicken thighs and not forgetting the pies I got a chunk of Chicken , Ham and Pork for my shoot lunch later on this week , wasn't sure what come first , the Chicken or the egg so I bought them both

chicken & leek pie has got to be my favourite pie :good:

I'd go along with that too, and not heavy like other pies can seem.

It was very good from a firm called Higgidy. never tried one before, but I will have them again.
