Dougy
I see allot of Tawny through the days walking about (me not the owls) but not noticed any calling. See Little owl's, Barn Owls and the Tawny not seen Long or Short Eared.

Humblepie
We have had a pair nest in our garden and at least one back every year for the past 3 -4 years, often heard them during daylight hours. Not heard them this year though and just read that they only live for 4 years, so maybe that’s it

Can anyone on here confirm please? Thanks
old man
I used to have the owlets in the trees in my garden in the 80's. Regularly trying to call to them for their replies to amuse the kids. Great times and fun.
