Pushkin
I was really shocked by this article that appeared on another website http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml...22/narmy322.xml Do these people even understand that these soldiers had been injured in the line of duty to their Queen and country? Sad reflection of how some of us treat our troops. Pushkin
Dirty Harry
Makes you wish they were in a horrible accident that left them disabled and they get treated like they treated those troops. Harry

gibby
"The woman said the men do not deserve to be in there and that she pays to come in the pool and they don't." Stupid bint, thats her complaint over our loyal troops using the pool. I for one am horrified that our own population could think so little of men so great. Reminds me of this quote, "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself." I think it fits this story well. I for one am making it a promise of mine to go visit The Armed Forces Memorial to show my respect as soon as i am home from uni. This has been my first year at uni, and i noticed that on the 11th of November the lack of students that were wearing poppies and stood for silence was disgraceful. Serving for the country would be one thing i would love to do, but like many i know i would never be able to. This country needs to buck up its ideas on how we treat and respect veterens and troops. J@mes
I hope they are named and shamed, and I hope their lives end up a complete misery because of it. absolutely disgusting. When I read the headline I thought it was going to be "chavs" or general youth that had been involved, not "30something head stuck up their own *****" women who were worried about value for money at the local swimming pool. Cranfield
This was flogged to death in the newspapers and it turned out to be one woman who complained that lanes were closed and some of the kids swimming sessions were cancelled. Apparently, she didn't speak to the soldiers and nobody shouted abuse at them. I believe she has now been banned from the facility.
