webber
Welcome back Cranfield, I wondered what had happened to you. Would it be the isle of dogs, or even labrador? Where ever it was, you obviously enjoyed yourself. webber

Cranfield
Some quite close (got the Country right), others not so close (Anglesey ?) The offshore fishing was 50 miles out from St Augustine, NE Florida, in the really blue water. The manatee were at Cedar Key, W Florida, on the Gulf of Mexico. The sunrise and sunset pics were St George Island, on the Panhandle. The speckled trout was near Mobile, Alabama. The redfish was New Iberia, Louisiana. A 5 week fishing fest. red_stag88
If you dont mind me asking, how much was it? Was it the same place last time where you had the Sailfish?
Cranfield
Mike, I found the butt pad necessary after the 4th 25lb Dorado. We kept 10 fish and released at least another 25. In the afternoon we went bottom fishing and caught Grouper to 30lbs, Red Snapper to 20lbs, Amberjacks, Hind, Scamp Grouper, Vermillion Snapper etc. We kept two 23 inch Grouper. Red, all my fishing was with friends. The offshore trip was with Barri Vickers on his Cabo Express 35. This is Barri playing with his fly rod. It was on the same boat that I had the sailfish. red_stag88
Bit of a beast of a fly rod though I have always wanted to go fishing in the keys, maby I will when I have made my millions. Some how I think I wont.
Aled_cky
to me its just another sunrise/sunset but i live on the most westernly farm in wales. very nice fish there you got. you eat any of them? Aled
Cranfield
Aled, I,m pleased that you enjoy such sunrises and sunsets every day, in West Wales. As I mentioned, 10 of the Dorado were retained and went to a Church Fundraising Cookout. My friend kept two Grouper for personal consumption. We ate loads of fresh fish during our travels, but I returned all the fish I caught.
